I am a PhD student in the UKRI CDT in NLP in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. There I am a member of the Centre for Speech Technology Research and the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation. My supervisors are Korin Richmond and Simon King.

My research interests are in text-to-speech synthesis for low-resource languages, especially multilingual modelling, transfer learning and model adaptation in end-to-end neural network systems. I'm interested in finding representations of speech which allow more efficient sharing of information between languages, making it easier to bootstrap training new voices for languages with little annotated data.

Note: These pages are under construction while I am a fledgling PhD student and haven't done anything useful yet. There's a lot of redundant information spread across multiple pages and some playground stuff, but I got impatient and just wanted to lay everything out right away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
